ROWAN HOUSE is conveniently situated midway between Christchurch international Airport, and Christchurch city, about ten minutes travelling from each.
If you wish to leave your car at home and go into the city by bus, there is a stop only a minute’s walk from our gate. Buses go directly into the city at half hourly intervals.
If you are travelling by car from the north, south or west, we are easily located. From State Highway 1, at the airport roundabout where SH1 crosses Memorial Ave, follow the directions into Christchurch city, which will take you along Memorial Avenue, (four lanes).
Turn left at the Ilam Road lights, (this is the first left after you pass the Greers Road lights).
At the church on the left, (St Stephen's, Bryndwr Presbyterian), where Ilam Road curves to the right, go straight ahead over the judder bump into Aorangi Road, avoiding the shrubbery that protrudes part way
